Frozen Artist Videos LLC
Frozen Artist Videos LLC was founded in 2002 by Arden Durham to house the series Art Incarnation: Portraits of Artists As Art(tm). The company started under the name A. D. Productions LLC and underwent a name change in 2006. Arden trademarked the title of the series, which was secured in 2008 after making multiple interstate sales.
Arden Durham
Arden has been working in video since 1991. She played with the medium in high school with her best friend, and started taking it seriously by the mid 1990’s. In 1997, she got her first fully functional 8mm video camera and immediately interviewed her grandparents about life in the early part of the 20th century.
The inspiration for Art Incarnation: Portraits of Artists As Art came during the St. Paul Art Crawl in the spring of 1998. Sculptor and performance artist David Wyrick told Arden about his upcoming constricted vacation experiment and she asked to videotape him. David’s performance was a hit and it became known on the streets as Man in Box, and Arden was hooked on documenting artists and then creating her own video art.
Arden brings her background in anthropology and psychology to the series as well as her own artistic experiences. For a look at Arden’s resume and other such professional information, go to

“Art Incarnation: Portraits of Artists As Art”
Statement
“Art Incarnation: Portraits of Artists As Art” is a series of documentary videos that explores the process of creation. I am your host, videographer, and author of this series, Arden Durham. “Art Incarnation” is my subjective record of my community in action. It is my response to the experience of sharing presence through art- how we see and interpret the world around us and find a place within it using a medium of expression. “Art Incarnation” is about serendipity, synchronicity, accessing alternatives, and dynamic relationships. It engages in the value of questions, metaphors, and collaboration.
I see each person as an artist and a piece of art. In my opinion, the magic of art is the power to alter perception. “Art Incarnation: Portraits of Artists As Art” investigates the actuation of the divine in the mundane, or in other words, “Art Incarnation” observes those wearing angel boots for quotidian life.
I invite you to step into another perspective, to walk a mile in a different pair of shoes…
